Crayola Artist

Don Marco was born in Northern Minnesota in the late 1920’s.

 His interest in art was evident even before starting school.

As a young adult in the Army Air Corp, he began his life’s career

in Air Traffic Control, which continued until his retirement from Honolulu International Airport in 1973.

Much of his spare time was spent as a professional artist.Before retirement, Don started developing a technique to create

fine art, using Crayola Crayons. Shortly after retiring, he published his first print.

Living in Southern California, his work was in demand, including commissions from Burt Reynolds and a one-man show at his DinnerTheater in Florida.

Charm. It’s intangible, ineffable, impossible to pin down. The phrase that comes closest is a French one (naturally): je ne sais quoi — “I don’t know what.” Yet we all recognize it when we see it: Think Audrey Hepburn, Oprah Winfrey, Diane Sawyer. Celebrities and politicians may possess charm in spades, but there’s more to it than physical beauty or sexual magnetism. Marlon Brando was a great actor — intense, brooding, exuding a dangerous appeal — but charming ? Not really. But Tom Hanks, by no means leading-man handsome, is as charming as they come.

It’s hardly an exact science, of course. Like beauty, charm often lies in the eye of the beholder. (Haven’t we all been left cold by someone a friend has raved about?) Still, genuinely charming people nearly always exhibit certain universal traits. Here are the five that experts agree on.

• Insight and passion
• Effortless social grace
• An interest in others
• Curiosity about the world

Being Charming can beat someone who’s prettier/beautiful, better looking than yourself. Your natural tendency to be caring on others well being and always on the look on someone’s need brings out your charm.

MY old time fave Audrey Hepburn, symbolized the true  description of a charming person!  She has been long gone but, she’s still in our midst because of her incredible charms/wits that really captivated our hearts!
